Многие могут удивиться, увидев в мужском журнале статью о сальсе. Ничего удивительного. Сальса – это не только танец. Обучаясь сальсе, ты обучаешься ВЕДЕНИЮ женщины – что является главным психологическим элементом в любых отношениях (если, конечно, ты не сторонник лежать под каблуком). Сальса - это очень психологический, очень эмоциональный и очень СЕКСУАЛЬНЫЙ танец.
Существует три основных стиля сальсы: Сальса Casino (с ударением на “i”), сальса New York и сальса Los Angeles. Все они очень разные, в каждом стиле своя фишка.
К сожалению, у меня не было возможности обойти все киевские школы – их уже существует около 12 или 16. Я познакомился только с пятью из них и пообщался с основателями каждой из них. В трёх из них, Cubano Boom, Kiev Latino и Salsa Club преподавателями являются коренные кубинцы, двое из которых не признают никакой другой сальсы, кроме кубинского Casino.
Как давно существует ваша школа?
Школа существует с 2004 года, в этом году мы праздновали трехлетие школы. Праздновали сразу на трех вечеринках, параллельно проводя семинарские занятие с приглашенными иностранными инструкторами.
Каким стилям сальсы вы учите?
Да, мы можем обучить сальсе Los Angeles, New York и сальсе Casino. Думаю что для человека, который никогда раньше не танцевал сальсу, выбор будет не слишком принципиальный. Можно просто посмотреть на видео, какой из этих стилей нравиться больше. LA – это больше шоу-стиль, там много акробатики, Casino – более «уличный» танец.

Я самореализуюсь через танец… просто чувствую, что это моё. Сальсу я танцую уже девять лет.

Для нас очень важен критерий квалификации тренеров. Вы не можете просто захотеть и стать преподавателем в нашей школе. Для этого нужен большой опыт.

Разовое посещение: 25 грн
И два вида абонемента:
Стандартный на 8 занятий в месяц – 2 раза в неделю: 160 грн
И интенсивный абонемент на 14 занятий: 250 грн (например для тех, кто хочет быстро научиться нескольким стилям)

Школа появилась относительно недавно, она существует с марта прошлого года, хотя я как преподаватель занимаюсь этим уже давно.

Основа – это Casino. Вся настоящая сальса – кубинская. Когда кубинцы приехали в Америку, они показывали как танцевать сальсу, но американцы смешали это с бальными танцами и диско.

В далёком 1999 году, я был вторым или третьим учителем сальсы на Украине. Я, как и некоторые другие кубинцы, прошел через клуб Кариббиан. Тогда все учились «на ходу». Почему именно к нам? Даже не знаю. Теперь существует множество школ, где другие кубинцы, да и многие украинцы, преподают на достаточно высоком уровне. Я не хотел бы, чтобы люди относились к этому как к спорту, - это не спорт, это отдых, развлечения. Жаль, что для многих людей сальса стала исключительно бизнесом. Вместо того, чтобы сотрудничать и веселиться вместе, школы начинают конкурировать между собой.

Помимо этой школы у меня есть ещё одна работа, танцы для меня это скорее хобби. В какой-то момент я увлекся танцами, начал с бальных танцев, потом перешел на сальсу. Я занимаюсь преподаванием танцев потому что танец для меня - удовольствие, а кроме того, еще большее удовлетворение - наблюдать за ростом своих учеников которые так же начинают получать удовольствие от сальсы.

Мы достаточно быстро обучаем, несмотря на то, что, как правило, парни учатся медленнее девушек. На «дискотечный» уровень девушки выходят уже после месяца занятий.

Для меня есть один стиль сальсы, это Casino! Само слово «сальса» - ни чего не значит, в переводе это просто «соус». Слово сальса придумали американцы, чтобы продавать его. Это как Кока-Кола.

Думаю, что человеку, который хочет научиться танцевать именно сальсу, стоит пойти туда, где преподавателем будет носитель этой культуры. Если на кубе какой-то кубинец захочет научиться танцевать гопак, он не пойдет учиться к кубинцу, он будет учиться у носителя этой культуры!

Вообще у меня два высших образования, но мы с Паулем решили отказаться от всего остального, чтобы иметь возможность полностью сконцентрироваться на клубе. Сальса эта наша с ним любовь, к тому же для него это ещё и его родная культура… Мне всегда нравиться смотреть, как люди танцуют, как горят их глаза. Некоторые ученики говорят, что танцы меняют их жизнь, и я вспоминаю, как когда-то танцы изменили мою жизнь.

Очень провокационный вопрос! Я не знаю! (смеется) Я вам честно скажу: хорошо, что у человека есть свобода выбора. Я за то, чтоб человек пробовал как можно больше разных школ! За каждого своего педагога я отвечаю. Половина наших педагогов имеет профессиональное хореографическое образование, другая половина имеет педагогическое образование. Нашу методику мы с Паулем создавали с нуля, мы знаем все мелочи и все тонкости обучения. Мы приглашаем международных преподавателей, которые завоевали мировую известность. Мы хотели бы, чтобы помимо того, что люди обучаются здесь танцам, чтобы они знакомились, вместе проводили время.
Мы организовываем вечеринки, приглашаем звёзд со всего мира, празднуем дни рождения – именно в этом контексте это именно клуб, а не просто школа танцев. Всех нас объединяет интерес к латиноамериканской музыке. Мы с Паулем не ограничиваем это танцами, потому что для нас это намного больше, для нас это культура. Зачастую у многих учеников по ходу появляется желание поехать отдохнуть куда-то в Латинскую Америку или на Кубу, начинают интересоваться испанским языком и т.д.

I believe she was trying to say that a few years ago you are just a person and now you can count yourself popular as you know so many people out there love you and they will do anything you want. But if you are a celebrity you shouldn't be too much proud of yourself as that is a sin. Just stay popular and be modest. Help people and love people because you know that they love you as well. And finally, try to be closer with your fans and let them know that you're not more special than they are.
